Rebekah Bush, M.S.M, CCRC
Rebekah Bush earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science Education from the University of Florida, followed by a Master’s of Science in Management. In 2006, she started as a Laboratory technician and is now certified as a Clinical Research Coordinator by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. She works in Dr. Fillingim’s pain research lab. Rebekah is currently providing research support for the NIH funded multi-center Orofacial Pain: Perspective Evaluation and Risk Assessment (OPPERA) study, which focuses on the causes of Temporomandibular Muscle and Joint Disorders. In addition, she assists with other NIH funded studies within the Pain Research and Intervention Center of Excellence (PRICE).
Honors and Awards
In March 2011, Rebekah received the Superior Accomplishment Award for the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She was also selected to participate in the Clinical Translational Science Institute’s (CTSI) Academy of Research Excellence Coordinator Program for Excellence in Human Subject Research. After successfully completing the program, she is now a member of the CTSI Academy of Research Excellence’s Research Coordinators Leadership Council.
