Lecture 1: Introducing UF Center for Advancing Minority Pain and Aging Science Cores & Resources
UF CAMPAS is an innovate center that is here to enhance the diversity of the aging research workforce by recruiting and training promising investigators from underrepresented backgrounds and supporting their mentored experiences conducting innovative social and behavioral research addressing pain and disability among older adults.
During this presentation Dr. Roger Fillingim, UF CAMPAS director, will discuss the following:
- How UF CAMPAS started- Why pain, aging and disability?
- The four Cores areas that are working synergetically to advance our mission
- UF CAMPAS resources including research funding opportunities.
