While the primary candidates will work on NIH funded positions to support neuroimaging aspects of characterizing chronic pain in older individuals, the candidates will be directly interacting with a large group of interdisciplinary UF researchers involved with multiple studies involving acute and chronic pain including multi-modal MRI acquisition, neuroimaging-based pain biomarkers, and inter-individual differences in pain.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have (or anticipate having) a Ph.D. and research background in Cognitive Neuroscience, Neurophysiology, Neuropsychology, or related fields. Individuals with backgrounds in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar fields and a strong interest/background in Psychology and human neuroimaging are also encouraged to apply.
