Congrats to Dr. Emily Bartley and coauthors for their recent publication “Examining Physical and Cognitive Function in Chronic Low Back Pain using a Multisystem Resilience Framework” in Pain Medicine. They found that having a higher degree of resilience factors such as hope, optimism, emotional support, and healthy habits may protect against negative outcomes in individuals with chronic low back pain.
