Congratulations to PRICE’s own Soamy Montesino-Goicolea! Her article, “Enrichment of Genomic Pathways based on Differential DNA Methylation Profiles Associated with Knee Osteoarthritis Pain,” has been published in the most recent issue of Neurobiology of Pain. Work by Dr. Montesino-Goicolea and colleagues suggest that epigenetic immune system regulation plays an important role in knee pain. These findings highlight a need for continuing research to further understand epigenetic contributions to chronic pain.
