AI Applications Assist Research in Pain
AI has been making waves in the fields of business, education and even biomedical sciences. In a new article, researchers from the Institute of Aging at the University of Florida examined how ChatGPT could help advance gerontology research.
In the article, “ChatGPT’s Role in Gerontology Research” researchers including Todd Manini, Clayton Swanson explored ChatGPT’s responses to theories, methods, and interpretations within different areas of gerontology.
The article has been published in The Journals of Gerontology Series A Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences!
RE-JOIN Connects Research
RE-JOIN, part of the HEAL Initiative led by NIH, works on studying joint pain in the knees and TMJ across different species. A new article co-authored by Yenisel Cruz-Almeida, Alisa Johnson and Kyle Allen, amongst many other investigators, discusses methods used to help make sure that scientists studying joint pain collect and share data in a way that allows them to work together better.
The article, “Clinical and biobehavioral phenotypic assessments and data harmonization for the RE-JOIN research consortium: Recommendations for common data element selection” has been published in Neurobioogy of Pain.
