The Pain and Aging Journal club is an excellent opportunity for faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students, and staff of various disciplines to interact and address the complexity of pain research. Feel free to share or invite others to this monthly event.
Every fourth Wednesday of each month, we cover new and emerging studies and breakthroughs in pain research. Take part in an open forum conducted by peers and experts in the field!
This month, Dr. Rajesh Khanna will lead the discussion on the article, “Nav1.7 as a chondrocyte regulator and therapeutic target for osteoarthritis” which explores how a protein called Nav1.7, found in chondrocytes (the cells that produce and maintain cartilage), plays a role in osteoarthritis (OA). Join us as we discuss how Nav1.7 not only affects pain but also the health of cartilage cells, making it a promising target for osteoarthritis treatments.
