A new study explores how strength training can benefit people with knee osteoarthritis! The article, “Life Participation In Strength Training May Preserve Function And Reduce Pain Burden In Knee Osteoarthritis,” which has been published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, is co-authored by Alisa Johnson and Heather and Kevin Vincent amongst other researchers from the University of Florida. Research from the study suggests that strength training alone can be a simple, effective way for people with knee osteoarthritis to keep their knees functioning better and experience less pain.
