New Model Addresses Underrepresented Communities

Black adults face the high rates of many cancers, yet they remain underrepresented in research, especially those living in low-income communities.
A new model developed researchers across multiple states, including Star Booker, seeks to change that. The Community-Partnered Cancer Disparities Research Collaborative (CDRC) model builds partnerships with trusted community members, pastors, and local churches to create culturally sensitive, sustainable engagement in cancer research!
