5. Tell us something fun that you do in your spare time or any hobbies that you enjoy.

I have always loved to read! Whenever I have spare time, I love to pick up new novels or reread my old favorites. I feel like it always provide a peaceful break from an otherwise busy life.

3. Tell us about how you got involved in pain and/or aging research. Was there a moment that inspired you?

When I joined the lab, I was new to pain research, and I have actually become very involved and interested in the research as I gained more hands-on experience in the past year. I have become more and more familiar with the work our lab does, and I have also been able to learn from several mentors in that time as well. Being able to sit in on the clinical interventions and actually listen to the conversations being had was a very eye-opening experience which definitely showed me how impactful the work being done is.
